Charges for Virtual Internet Services are intended to recover the costs associated with operating and maintaining the services and facilities. Any special services or features requested by a client, or discounts for larger capacity requirements, are negotiated and charged separately. There is a $10 surcharge when a change is made to a client's current package. There are currently no data transfer limits established. However, massive transfers (for example, more than 1GB per month) may be considered abusive, resulting in additional surcharges or access restrictions. Billing periods are monthly, quarterly or annually. Billing amounts are due at the start of each billing period as pre-payment for the billing period and are non-refundable. There is a 10% handling fee for invoice amounts under $50.00. All invoices are subject to a late payment fee of 10%. The client is responsible for purchasing their domain name. The VIS only provides hosting of the domain if requested. Domain names should be purchased from a Domain Name Registrar. Wilkor can arrange the purchase of an available domain name on your behalf; a $50 service fee is added to the purchase cost. Although Wilkor Computing Services in its due diligence regularly maintains and backs up file systems and services for a short period of time to protect against server failure, these are not intended as long-term archival services. The client is solely responsible for backing up its website contents. Wilkor Computing Services Inc. cannot accept responsibility for any loss or damage to the client's website and contents, but will use its best efforts to maintain service availability.
