Internet Mail is received on the VIS host and delivered to appropriate mailboxes. Each mailbox is identified by an alias name and the virtual domain. By convention, the alias name corresponds to the first and last name of the mailbox owner, so Internet mail addressed to "firstname.lastname@domain" is delivered to that owner's mailbox. The Mail services support mail (spam) rejection using Internet Black List agents and other spam detection techniques. The services can also provide mailing lists for email distribution and group discussion. Access to mailboxes is with a specific Web-based mail service. By convention, the Web Services for the virtual domain define a link to access this mail service. The alias name and owner-defined password are used to login to the mail service and gain access to the owner's mailbox. Please feel free to contact us
